WHAT IS ARIS?

Since 1991, the founders of Athlon Risk Insurance Services (ARIS) have worked exclusively with the Staffing Services Industry. ARIS works with staffing firms nationwide and on average, our client’s experience modification factors are 20% below the industry average, with many clients in the 60 to 70-percentile range.

Since ARIS’ original focus was in providing risk management services to the temporary staffing industry, ARIS has access to risk management tools, safety resources, insurance carriers and exclusive programs that will provide you the best coverage, service, price and protection you need as a temporary staffing firm in this business environment.

The truth of the matter is most general insurance brokers do not understand the unique needs of the temporary staffing firm; they do not have the experience nor carrier relationships to obtain the lowest ultimate cost of risk for your staffing firm.

Whenever we establish a new relationship with a staffing firm, We utilize a 4-step process:

Analyze current policies for coverage gaps, adequate limits and appropriateness of pricing.

First Step

/ ANALYZE

Review all open claims to determine whether (a) an appropriate plan of action is in place, (b) reserves can be decreased, (c) could anything have been done to reduce or eliminate the claim in the claims infancy, (d) are their any frequency or severity trends, and (e) whether there are any problem client locations. Each claim will be analyzed to determine the impact on future insurance premiums.

Second Step

/ REVIEW

Investigate all class codes utilized to make certain they are appropriate. Eighty percent of all staffing firms have some jobs unintentionally miscoded and they are often using a more expensive class code.

Third Step

/ INVESTIGATE

Scrutinize current and past experience modification calculations. Errors are common in experience modification calculations and we can have those corrected going back 3 years. Many corrections impact several years, often giving our clients premium refunds from policies that expired 5 years ago.
